The "Model Portfolio" is a theoretical portfolio that starts every year with $10,000 where no withdrawals or additions are made throughout the year.

All these Credit Spreads and Iron Condors are traded in a real money account. But, in my real money account there is investing related activity plus a couple other strategies I follow. I also add and withdraw money from that account throughout the year. All that, makes it very challenging to calculate the performance of the options selling strategy in particular. That's why, for the track record I prefer to reflect a "Model Portfolio" to make it easier for performance calculations purposes. In this track record I reflect position sizes that are proportionately as close as possible to those traded in my real money account. Only real fills of my real money account are reported in the "Model Portfolio".
Commissions of $1.50 per contract were assumed for 2012.

Trading balance +$5372, which represents +53.72% for a $10000 portfolio before commissions.
Final Portfolio balance $13647, representing a +36.47% performance after commissions.
